Pastry cook Gaston Lenôtre passed away
Gaston Lenôtre, the famous pastry chef who revolutionized gluttony left us today, Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the age of 88 years. The group Ours announced in a statement that Gaston Lenôtre died of a long illness in his house in Sologne. He had lived in this house since 1990, when he retired with his wife for a well-deserved retirement.
