Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura: a collaboration of great beauty
This winter, on the occasion of the launch of its perfume Karléidoscope, Karl Lagerfeld had made the buzz by partnering with Sephora to create a mini limited edition make-up collection for the holiday season. A first foray into the beauty planet that the fashion designer seems to have appreciated since it will soon reiterate the experience but with the brand Shu Uemura this time.
According to the Women's Wear Daily, Chanel's artistic director will indeed develop a make-up collection for the Japanese beauty brand, which belongs today to the L'Oréal group. This is not the first time Shu Uemura partner with an artist or a fashion designer to create collector's editions: we remember the superb collections revamped by Wong Kar Wai, Tsumori Chisato or more recently Mamechyio.

The Kaiser capsule collection will be titled "Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura "And will be released in November 2012.
