Chicken, a new alternative to turkey or capon?

Why choose chicken?
The chicken is close to the capon, but its weight is lower than that of the male (2.4 kilos on average). This young hen slaughtered before laying is raised and fattened for at least 112 days and fed on dairy products and cereals (corn most of the time). His taste is more subtle and his flesh softer than his companion, making it a great option for Christmas! Compared to turkey, the quality of the chicken is superior and allows to obtain dishes finer than with the latter.

Space, healthy food and longer fattening time: choose quality! Do not forget to empty it before cooking, because the labeled chicken (Bresse or elsewhere ...) is sold whole.
